Capital letters stay capital: type in lowercase for full small caps. Small caps has no q or x, so the closest look-alikes are used.

Why only these styles?
Minecraft's font covers the Basic Multilingual Plane through its Unifont fallback. Mathematical letters like 𝐀 or 𝓐 live outside it and can show up as boxes, so this tool sticks to characters that render everywhere.
Small caps in configs
Save config files as UTF-8. If a plugin turns ᴀʙᴄ into question marks, paste the \uXXXX escapes instead: YAML double-quoted strings, JSON and Java properties all read them.

How do I write in small caps on my server?
Type your text in lowercase above, copy the small caps line and paste it into chat, a scoreboard, tab list or item name. Capital letters stay capital so you can mix them.
Do these characters work on Bedrock?
Mostly. Bedrock's font covers fewer symbols, so some may show as squares there. Java Edition shows all of them.
