What you see is what players see

Previews are drawn with a pixel font that has Minecraft’s exact character widths, the same text shadow, bold offset and &k scrambling. So a centered MOTD is actually centered, and a line that wraps here wraps in game.

The renderer understands & and § codes, every hex notation, MiniMessage and JSON text components, so you can paste whatever your plugin uses.
