64×64

Drop an image here, paste it, or

PNG, JPG, GIF or WebP. Nothing is uploaded: the image is resized in your browser.

Guide

How to use

  1. 1Drop, paste or choose an image. Logos, skins renders and pixel art all work.
  2. 2Choose Fill to crop or Fit inside to letterbox, zoom, and drag the icon to frame it.
  3. 3Download server-icon.png, put it next to server.properties and restart the server.

Good to know

Exactly 64×64

Minecraft ignores server-icon.png unless it is a 64×64 PNG. Transparent pixels are fine: the server list draws the icon over its own background.

Pixel art stays sharp

Small images switch to Pixel art scaling automatically, which copies pixels instead of blurring them. Use whole-number zoom levels (100%, 200%…) for perfectly even pixels.

Questions

Why doesn't my server icon show up?

Check that the file is named exactly server-icon.png (not server-icon.png.png), that it is 64×64, and that the server was restarted. Behind a proxy, the icon belongs in the proxy folder or its config.

Can the server icon be animated?

No. The server list only shows a still PNG; a GIF's first frame is used if you convert one here.
